The Python Presentation Night @ Improving (PPN 130) is a hybrid event that will take place on November 14, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM CST. The event will be held both in-person at Improving in Minneapolis, MN and virtually via Google Meet. The event is organized by the PyMNtos Twin Cities Python User Group and aims to bring together Python enthusiasts to network, enjoy pizza and drinks, and learn about the Temporal platform. The agenda includes networking and socializing from 7:00-7:30 PM, followed by a formal program from 7:30-9:00 PM. The formal program will feature opening remarks, two speakers, and the opportunity for attendees to share brief Python tidbits, experiences, or job openings. The speakers will be Peter Sullivan, a Solutions Architect at Temporal, who will present "Build Reliable Python Applications, Faster: Durable Execution with Temporal", and Steve Banks from Improving, who will present "Temporal in the Wild". After the formal program, attendees are invited to join a happy hour either in the Improving kitchen or at a nearby location, Sociable Cider Werks, for further discussions and merriment. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP on Meetup and indicate whether they will attend in-person or virtually. Laptops are welcome, and WiFi will be available. Volunteers are needed to speak, host, and greet at future meetups.
